An Introduction

Hey Sweet Girls!

My name is Molly and I just recently started my freshman year of college! Before I tell you anything else about myself, I'd like to start out this post by saying this: I have been in your shoes. I've been through the embarrassments and the terrible fashion choices you wish your mom would have stopped you from wearing out of the house. I've been through the drama and the useless fights and I've been through the awkward first dates and the breakups that seem like the end of the world. I completely understand that middle school and high school can be kind of rough sometimes. But I'm here to tell you something very important- so listen closely!

Its not that bad.

Now I know, you probably don't believe me. You're probably sitting there thinking, "This girl doesn't even know me! She doesn't know my life, she doesn't know what I've been through! Who is she to tell me that it's not that bad?"

And you're right. I don't know you and you don't really know me. And believe me, I'm in no way trying to diminish the everyday trials and toils of your life because, like I said, I've been there! I know exactly what it's like to feel like little things are earth-shattering. And that's why I'm writing this blog for you now.

Throughout this blog I'm going to be sharing a lot with you guys. I'll tell you some stories from my own life, or my friends' lives, of embarrassing moments that we've all learned to look back and laugh at. I'll also be sharing some tips and tricks of the trade that I've found on how to make the best of awkward situations and how to just simply laugh it off!

My mission is to encourage girls like you to live your life freely with your heart full, your mind open and your laughter great. I hope this blog finds you well and gives you a little hope that you'll get over whatever situation might be temporarily staining your happiness. I hope you can learn some of the things that I wish I had known at your age. And most importantly, I hope you can learn that you have the ability to lead a life that is totally happy and enjoyable. Above all, I hope you will learn how to just laugh your way through life. Because, in my opinion, that's really a wonderful thing.

Until next time,
Molly
